Is my location data secure?

Absolutely. WakeBear operates on a Zero Trust model. Perimeter validation happens locally on your device; we do not sell or share telemetry data with third parties.

How does a GPS location alarm work?

You choose a destination or share it from Google Maps. WakeBear sets a geolocation alarm and alerts you as you approach your stop—not at a fixed time.

You can start free with the GUEST plan, which includes core features with limits. PREMIUM and PRO PLUS are optional upgrades for more capacity.

Does it work for bus, train, and metro?

Yes. It is designed for public transit and trips where you might fall asleep or get distracted.

Does it work in the background with the screen off?

Yes. It is built to monitor your trip in the background, with the screen off, and with practical resilience to OS suspension.

What if GPS signal drops in a tunnel or subway?

When GPS degrades, WakeBear uses a hybrid backup approach to help maintain trip prediction. Results still depend on permissions, device conditions, and environment.

Does it work with Google Maps?

Yes. You can share a destination from Google Maps into WakeBear to set the alarm faster.

Does it drain battery quickly?
