GPS Alarm on the Metro

The first proximity alarm that understands the challenges of underground transit. Wake up at your station regardless of the signal.

The challenge of the underground world

In the subway, internet and GPS signals disappear. Normal map apps stop working and time alarms fail if the train stops too long in a tunnel.

Smart recalibration

  • Works without constant network: Once the route is drawn, the app uses the approximate location of cellular networks.
  • Takes advantage of surface stops: Every time the train approaches the surface or gets a signal at a station, the system recalculates.
  • Station alerts: Measures the overall progress of the line to wake you up before your transfer.

Designed for the urban traveler

We know the subway is fast, noisy, and disconnected. That's why the alarm sounds with intense vibration and ignores temporary signal losses without canceling your route.

Ideal for the subway

End-to-end trips

Perfect for those 45-minute trips across the city underground where reading or sleeping is the only option.

Critical transfers

Avoid missing that specific station where you must change lines or lose half an hour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work if I have no coverage at all during the trip?

WakeBear needs at least flashes of mobile network signal (cell tower triangulation) which usually occur at stations.

Can you hear it with the subway noise?

We recommend using the constant vibration mode or in-ear headphones, as the carriage noise can drown out the speakers.
